Onboard with Ease
It’s always been simple for riders to get started with Uber: Tap a button, get a ride. For drivers, it was a very different, much more complicated story.
The onboarding process had a reputation for being extremely incoherent and inconsistent, which made it consistently confusing and frustrating for anyone starting their Uber journey in the driver’s seat. The Driver Welcome Kit was created to simplify the experience at a local and national level, serving as a clear and comprehensive guide for anyone, anywhere. The first iteration proved to be a valued resource so, in 2019, we were tasked with expanding its reach and updating the creative and content to adhere to Uber’s new brand identity, accurately describe current products and features, and mirror all other touch points (i.e. in-app, Greenlight Hub materials, CRM, and Uber.com).
